Accept the responsibility to be the source of what the future holds for the line of your obsession or industry. Believe that you can and have what it takes to change the game. Commit your time, energy and resources and finally, do all you can to deliver.

Now, let's talk about fashion. :) I'll love to introduce a series on How to become an Ideal Style Icon To kick off introduction on this gonna-be-exciting series, I'll start with the most important caption in the fashion industry:

EMBRACE IT!

Style isn't some sort of fur coat or winter hat or t-shirt or some expensive Gucci gown you put on, just for the season. It's more of something that should be stuck with you, it should be engraved in your palms, it should come like a live wire from beneath your skin.
Therefore, to be an ideal style icon, you must first embrace style and its concept. Money cannot buy style but it sure can buy a good stylist.
Embracing style is letting your thoughts and actions align with your good sense of creativity.
Style is not just involved in what we wear or how we dress. It's involved in everything, ranging from our home and surroundings to our physical appearance and poise for every occasion. Knowing how to match and mix your home and office furniture, your clothes, your make-up, your accessories and a whole lot more. We'll be going through a whole lot of fun stories and articles and how best to achieve what you want in becoming the ideal style icon you've always wanted to be.
I would be taking you through a list of people I consider style icons and in my forthcoming episodes, I'll tell you how I feel they achieve this.
<strong>Michelle Obama</strong><br/><br/>
<strong>In her closet:</strong> Jason Wu, Narciso Rodriguez, Zero &#43; Maria Cornejo, J.Crew, Rodarte, Talbots, Azzedine Ala&#239;a<br/>
<strong>Iconic outift:</strong> Chartreuse-yellow Isabel Toledo dress and coat on Inauguration Day, 2009<br/>
<strong>Key accessory:</strong> Lanvin sneakers<br/>
<strong>Thing you can't imitate:</strong> The photo ops<br/><br/>
Let's get the cheesy clich&#233;s out of the way at the beginning: Michelle Obama, our commander-in-chic, has proudly exercised her right to bare arms. There now! Touted as the savior of Seventh Avenue before her husband was even sworn in, the First Lady has in fact crafted a look that's totally non-hyperbolic: She's an everywoman with smart high-low taste, a good figure, and, on occasion, the need to dress for a black-tie event with the world's most powerful rulers in attendance. Her efforts have landed her on <em>Vanity Fair</em>'s International Best-Dressed List for four years running, an unheard-of achievement for someone who isn't married to a minor European nobleman.
